Boulder's Big Hootenanny 10th Anniversary

August 11, 2017, 11:00pm - August 13, 2017, 3:00am

Join us at the 10th anniversary of Boulder's Big Hootenanny! In conjunction with Conscious Alliance and our ongoing efforts to shed light on hunger and foster youth empowerment programs in our Native American communities, this year's special fundraising event will be hosted at Gold Lake Resort, along with our little cabin in the woods. With limited sleeping accommodations at the resort, reservations come at a first come first serve basis. Let's appreciate some breath-taking nature, hear some of Boulder's most amazing musicians, enjoy some good food, family and friends; while we do our part to help those in need. If you are interested in staying at one of the cabins at Gold Lake, please contact Banker at 720-291-2513 to work out the details. We have a killer line-up and look forward to seeing all of you there! WHEN I SAY HOOTE, YOU SAY NANNY go to www.bouldersbighootenanny.com

Hogan & Moss

August 11, 2017, 8:00pm - August 12, 2017, 12:55am

Hogan & Moss play scorch folk: Original songs with old souls, the Carter Family canon, Appalachian trad, Delta soul, Gypsy swing and gospel blues, delivered with passion, speed and drive. Part folk-punk, part 1930s vintage valentine, it snaps with mad harmonies, Mother Maybelle-style picking, yodeling, scat, upright bass and an archtop-guitar rhythm chop that’s like a driving wheel.
